WWE loaded the card for the Day 1 pay-per-view event as it is considered a big show because WWE President Nick Khan came up with the idea.
WWE wants to make it one of the biggest shows of the year alongside WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, SummerSlam and Money in the Bank. That’s why WWE is hosting another match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.
Wrestling Votes reported today that Vince McMahon turned down various locations to change the presentation of the show, including ring ropes, carpet color, etc.
The account wrote: “In coordination with the theme for Day 1, several presentation ideas were discussed regarding the look and feel of the PPV of tomorrow. Everything from different rope colors, carpet colors, camera angles, etc. and from what I was told, ALL were declined. Dear.
Other big games scheduled for Saturday’s event include WWE Champion Big E vs. Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens vs. Bobby Lashley and Edge vs. The Miz. With the recent COVID-19 outbreak in business, WWE has removed several big stars from this week’s internal broadcasts to ensure wrestlers who have not tested positive are available for day one.
