FUTEX 2022 will be held in Taipei in a hybrid format to explore key technological advancements of the next decade


TAIPEI, October 12, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Global leaders and new startups in the semiconductor, zero-emissions and sports tech industries will attend the Future Tech Pavilion 2022 (FUTEX 2022).

FUTEX 2022 is an event organized by Taiwan National Science Council. The island is one of the most important ICT industry bases in the world and is home to TSMC, a leading semiconductor manufacturer and key supplier of iPhone chips to Apple.

A highlight of the annual event is the Global Trends Forum where three main selected topics are discussed. This year’s range of topics includes Ahead of the Trend: The Global Semiconductor Market Over the Next Decade, The Technology-Based Revolution for the Net Zero Future and New Technologies Creating a Whole New Vision of Semiconductor sports industry.

The Semiconductor Forum will invite executives from Qualcomm, Israel’s Chain Reaction and US startup SiFive to discuss future semiconductor trends, including the key to pursuing Moore’s Law, emerging chip designs and the competitive development of the global semiconductor industry.

The Net-Zero Emissions Forum will bring together members of senior management from Switzerland energy vault, Iceland Carbfix and australia Yarra Energy Foundation. Speakers from the three countries will provide details on their leading green technologies and net zero capabilities.

The Sports Technology Forum will invite leaders from South Korea 4DREPLAY, a company that has redefined the sports viewing experience with its advanced 4D video technology that has been used to broadcast NBA, MLB and Tokyo Olympics events. Another speaker, from the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA), will share his perspective on how to connect sports-related technological advancements around the world through international exchange.

FUTEX 2022 will be held at Taipei, Taiwan from 10/13 to 10/15, and be streamed live on the FUTEX 2022 and TechOrange Facebook pages to share future trends in semiconductors, net zero emissions and sports technologies, as well as advancements the most popular technologies on the market with a global audience.
