Commercial bank launches self-service card printing machines

Commercial Bank introduces its latest innovative service, self-service card printing machines.
This launch is part of the bank’s strategy to improve the customer’s banking experience through digitalization and process automation.
An instant self-service card printing experience will be available to commercial bank cardholders through self-service card printing machines placed in convenient customer locations for all new card, card renewal and card replacement.
Customers will automatically receive an SMS when their card is ready to be printed on the machine. They can then go to a self-service card printing machine location of their choice to print and collect their cards with easy-to-follow on-screen instructions. The whole card printing process takes less than two minutes.
Currently, Commercial Bank provides the self-service card printing machines at Villaggio Mall branch and Al Wakrah Avenue branch with more locations to be added shortly. The first feedback from customers has been very positive.

The launch of self-service card printing machines will provide an improved customer experience as it will enable customers to eliminate the waiting period to get their cards at any time of the day.

Self-service card printing machines allow our customers to easily print their cards through simple self-service steps.
“This service follows many of the innovative digital solutions we have offered to our customers such as CB Pay, which allows customers to add their CB cards and make secure payments using their Android phones.”
This launch comes after Commercial Bank was recently awarded the “Best Digital Bank” in Qatar for 2021 by AsiaMoney Magazine.
This award highlights the bank’s ability to provide innovative digital solutions enabling customers to meet all their banking needs through CB Digital Services.
